Hello and Merry Christmas to you all!
I have been working abroad for the last few months and had to leave my P38 unloved at home. Upon my return the brake pump / accumilator failed and left me with no brakes. I had a second hand pump / accumilator fitted and it worked fine - for 300 miles. The replacement pump has started to remain on after switching the engine off and is now in danger of burning itself out again. I have disconnected the battery for now. Both pumps failed after a long journey (might be relevant?). Has anyone got any suggestions to prevent the total failure of another pump or any ideas on what might be causeing the problem in the first place? I just want to be able to drive my P38 again!
