BP Ultimate Diesel for TD4

Hi guys

Any of you boys use BP Ultimate diesel in your TD4? If so, do you notice any difference, either in economy or performance?

I filled up with it at the weekend but I believe it can take a while for your engine to 'adjust' to better fuel (?), and I haven't done enough driving to notice any difference yet.

Just wondered if it's worth it before I start throwing an extra 3 or 4 quid at BP every time I fill up!

went through the whole routine a number of times with mine, trying a different brand for a month or so (company was paying for fuel so cost didn't matter).

net result was didn't really notice much of a difference, although I did seem to be slightly smoother on Shell for some reason.

Don't bother at all now, (esp. as I have to pay for fuel). Only concession is I put injector cleaner (miller power sport) in every couple of tank fulls, which seems to help it run smoother at about 2000 revs.

i have definatly noticed a difference when i've used Shell compared to supermarket diesel. Put some Shell v-power diesel in other day and seemed to pull better.
