Hi all, got my old 110 back yesterday and it is great to have her back!
I drover her to Sierra Leone in West Africa about 4 years ago and then sold her on after using her for a year there. The guy I sold her to drove her back and I then bought her back off him.

So questions:
Chassis is a bit rusty but not too bad what is the best bet without going nuts? Wire brush and then K rust?
I bought 4 new BF all terrain before I left. Bloody amazing things, they did the trip there and back plus three years in some terrible roads in west africa and only one puncture. It is in the sidewall and has been patched sahara style somewhere on the drive back up. There is the spare avon on the car at the moment. Is the patched BF for the bin or might an inner tube sort it? Shame to be running three BF and one avon!
The steel bottom of the doors was pretty shot when I sold it and much worse now. Again wire brush and k rust?
Aluminium corrosion is showing on top and bottom edge of all the doors, the paint is bobbling from underneath, anything to be done?
Are there any decent defender / landrover specialists in herts that people could recommend? I am just outside St Albans.
That is about it for now. I can't tell you how nice it is to look out the window and see her back on the drive
