Hi, I have opened the screw bleed value too far on my RR P38 bottle jack and squirted hydro fluid onto floor. Replaced screw, removed bung topped up to level, but cannot get pump to bleed or extend again, what am I doing wrong please?

undo the valve (not all the way this time) and pump 20 times at least.

this will purge out any air in the system.

then tighten the screw and pump to test. :)

    bugger :(

there should be a ball bearing in the hole that the screw pushes on to, this holds the pressure in the jack.

or you could try dropping a ball bearing in the hole and test it!
