Hi was looking around on ebay the other day and came across a Boston Automotive test meter - starting bid £15 :) Had a good read of the functions its got and thought i'd have a bid :) well mine was the only bid - so i won it for £15 :D It arrived today and after putting a new battery in it - it works fine :D

A few of the features:
DC VOLTAGE ranges from 200mv to 1000v
AC VOLTAGE ranges from 200v to 750v
DC CURRENT ranges from 20Ma to 10A
RESISTANCE o to 20Mohm
FREQUENCY 20Khz
Temp -20 to 750 deg celsius
Diode and audible continuity test
Transistor hFE test
Dwell angle for 3/4/5/6/8 cylinder engines
Tacho for 3/4/5/6/8 cylinder engines

Come with 1000v insulated probes and croc clip attachments and a temp attachment :D

Not bad for £15 :D

Anyone heard of the Boston Automotive make before??
 
nope, they are really helpful bits o kit, specially if you have a petrol.

Ive got a gunson testune in the shed, that does up to 100A current if you use a shunt, as well as me multi that lives in the landy.
