Does anyone know of a technical document describing the inner workings of the Bosch EDC 1.3.1 system used in the diesel P38s ?
I'm curious about the different strategies used in function of the various inputs.
I had a problem with a broken wire that was signaling the ECM as if the clutch pedal was always depressed (down). After fixing this the P38 now feels nicer to drive, but I'd like to read up on the EDC system to see if I can confirm this theory.
I've read the document on the VP44 FIPs and it's given me some pointers but it's not as in depth as I would like.
