Got a 2014 freelander that the plastic boost hose at the front keeps blowing off under load. Tried removing and cleaning and tightening the clamps as much as possible. Nothing seems to work and no DTC except a boost code after it runs with the boost leak

Yes they're a little bit of a nuisance, the trick is to make sure everything is super clean, a little brake cleaner on a rag wipe the throttle body, and also clean out the hose with a dry rag, choose a good jubilee clip and tighten up.

If it's the front lower hose then same goes as above also sometimes a new hose is required due to going soft over time.

Does anyone know if this hose blowing off is indicative of another problem, for example if the pressure is to high?
