The roof on my Truck Cab is very flexible and make a very loud booming noise if I drive over 60mph.

I was thinking of riveting some strips of steel banding to the underside to strengthen it up. Anyone had any experience of this or offer any advice ? :scratching_chin:

Had the same but on the side panels all you need is to stick some sound deadening on , or some decent carpet underlay.

OK. Thanks Ill try that first.

How easy is it to get the roof lining down and fix it back up again ?

10 mins to take it down... half an hour to put it back up... and 3 days in between while you wait for the new clips to arrive - they WILL break! :)

MWC9832LUH I believe....

Used camping mat (also sold as exercise mat) on mine- dead cheap and water resistant!

Keeps the warmth in avoiding condensation - just make sure you use high temp spray adhesive, otherwise in the unlikely event that we get any sun it might all come unstuck!

This is the reason that some hardtop roof's have the rib along them, otherwise they would wobble badly, and they're much bigger than the truck cab ones
