Silly me I have lost one of the bolts which secures the spare wheel clamps to the bonnet of my Series III.
Has anybody got a spare one for sale or can you point me in the right direction to source another?
Thanks
Des

Sorry to jump in and high jack your post, but it's apt to yours..
I need the 4 black rubber? discs that mount to bonnet, that the spare wheel sits on.
Any idea where I can get them?

Cheers :5bsifone:

I just bought some of the rubbers from Dunsfold - £5 each inc VAT. Much easier ion the wallet and very good quality. The mount plate bolts are 1/2" BSF at 16 tpi.

Hope this helps.

You're not on commission, are you? :p

Na, their search engine is just very good, and typing in "spare wheel rubber" gives you two options, one of which is NLA and superceded by the second. Simples.

I'd check the prices against paddocks tho, where you ought to have the part No, as their search engine is crap. Prices are sometimes a lot better though.

Im afraid to say Paddocks are s**t, and I vow never to use them again..

Their prices are great, they ship fast.
Their packing is ****e, and they like to sell you britpart.

But they helped me a lot when I had a problem with another supplier and I needed a water pump REAL FAST. Ordered online, made sure it was leaving the same day. And it did.
I have found their service very good, but not had to send anything back yet (placed more than ten orders with them already).

Yeah, you get what you pay for with Paddocks, but often the next day!

I spent a grand or so with them,
Had a faulty brake master cylinder, took 4 weeks for repalcement, replacement one was faulty too, took nearly 3 months to get a refund.

I suppose they are ok if you want service parts etc, but as they just seem to be Britparts prefered supplier the stuff is crap.

I have gearbox mounts, front propsahft gaiter on my landy now, Britpart from Paddocks,
they are cracking and splitting, 6 months old, concidering my landy has not been on the road yet, its crap..

I got a Quinten Hazell water pump for my 200di from them, for 55 quid.
I just search for part number +"G" usually, even then they're cheaper most of the time...
