Other Bonnet letter removal

As promised Wished to give u some feedback about removing the bonnet lettering

Used the meguiars compound and rubber wheel

First gave the bonnet a single pass over the letters with the rubber wheel and all the backing came off virtually in one hit but could still see the outline

Then used some compound , then rubber wheel again at a slow speed

Also found it easier when applying the compound to wipe it straight off and not allow it to dry

Don’t think it looks too bad, spent a couple of hours on it, main issue was the sun because in direct sunlight the polish can’t be allowed to dry

that rubber wheel made light work of the badge backing ,

Brake hoses and AC condensor next but is finally after the 3 x years really coming together now
