Has anyone got or used these. My off roading is pretty much solo and late at night in the middle of nowhere. I was toying with putting a winch on but they are useless when you end up in the **** and the nearest tree is three hundred yards away. That plus a front mounted winch may well pull me deeper into the **** rather than back onto solid ground ;)

Bog strips?

Don't see how toilet paper is gonna help much

Aha! having googled

About as useful as a piece of carpet....which can be useful admittedly.....but the problem is getting them under your wheels when your chassis deep in the brown stuff.

If your that worried get a winch and ground anchor.....if that won't pull you through you should never have tried in the 1st place

front winch CAN be used to winch yourself backwards with a few shackles and pulley things...if thers no trees then get a ground anchor, doesnt need to be a big shovel on a bad, can be the big angle iron and some rods with a shakle on..

as above bogstrips are ok for snow etc but not much good when your up and above axles in mud.

Be very interested to know how you can get a front mounted winch to pull you backwards, irrespective of the number of shackles and snatch blocks you have???
