One of our cutomers just bought a 2002 RangeRover HSE V8 Auto. He has asked whether it is possible to fit head lamps, front grille, side wing grilles and bumper from a 2010 plate RangeRover to "upgrade" the look of the vehicle.

We spoke to maindealer and they seem to think it would be possible but with quite a lot of expensive modifications due to differences in fixing points for the bumper, grilles etc.

Has anyone ever heard of this being done and what issues can you forsee? Any ideas about how, who and cost?

Any info gratefully anticipated!

Dave

Assuming the '02 you are talking about is a first gen L322 then yes it can be done with limited technical expertise (The P38 model is possible too but a lot harder).

There are companies doing this already:

2010 Supercharge Conversions | DCC 4x4 Sidebars

As you can see from the link its not cheap. Upgrading to the '06 facelift was cheaper as there were less thingss to change like wiring for LED lights etc, but I guess nobody would want to do that now there is a '10 facelift again.
