another question on lifting the disco,i have 2"bodylift blocks to go on,when i was lubing up the old nuts i noticed there is already a 1"rubber in the mount already do i leave this in and put new block ontop of it or does it need to come out, which would mean its only lifting it about 1" more than whats there already? apart from that looks easy enough

if the lifting blocks are solid then the rubbers stay . if the blocks are soft rubber then im not sure , but i would say leave the original ones and add the blocks either way.

HI gizgrey the rubbers you refer to are insulators they do as the name suggests , you should leave them in place. I did find when I did my body lift the insulators were as hard as steel so I replaced them they are not that expensive.

gizgrey A word in your ear I am sure you will know BUT just in case ,
remove the bolts holding the body to the chassis just ONE side at a time, loosen the other side but dont remove untill the new bolts are in place.
