Hi all,

I have just bobtailed my classic and cannot get it to start. I have reconnected the fuel tank, and it does not seem to be sucking any fuel.

I think I have a mechanical fuel pump as I have followed the fuel lines and could not see an electric one. Could there be an airlock in the fuel system? If so, how do I get frid of it?
Cheers,
Will

Also, someone said that it could be the fact that the fuel tank is higher that the engine now it is in the back?!? surely that would help the fuel get up there to be burt!!? Cheers

Cheers Gman, It was working fine beforehand though. Its only been out for a week. An electric pump sounds like a good idea though.
