Hi, just a quickie,
I’m sure I had seen a discussion about this but I can’t find it now so I wondered whether any of you fine folks might know the answer or be able to point me in the right direction.
My fuel gauge is faulty, well, it’s ‘offset’. When full it reads 1/4 of a tank falling to empty.
The fuel light and the info in the Range on the information system work fine so there are no issues with fuel lines, senders or pumps -it’s just the darn gauge !
It seems likely that in its past the battery disconnect procedure wasn’t followed leading to this issue and I’m certain if read about a way to trick it to recalibrate with an empty tank but I’ve searched and I just can’t find anything.
Coukd some kind soul point me in the right direction please ?
Thanks again
Bob
