I have a 2000 vogue fitted with the factory fitted alpine unit and Harmon Kardon speakers. plus satnav......
I was reading the manual for the radio and it was saying that if a car kit is fitted it puts the phone into the front speakers and satnav from the rears
does anyone know how to link up a phone kit (bluetooth) to this unit and work like it says in the book????
also is there any way of putting an ipod into the system????
I dont want the ipod radio thing nor the tape thing with the wire hanging out of the head unit!!
I also dont want to change the head unit before anyone test me to do that!

Hi, try reading this post.

http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/phone-system-p38-40452.html

i have been meaning to do this for ages. So far i've only got as far as buying the extra wiring from ebay

SOUNDLINX ISO MUTE INTERFACE LEAD FOR LANDROVER on eBay, also Car Kits, For Nokia, Mobile Phone Accessories, Mobile Home Phones (end time 17-Jan-08 13:56:13 GMT)
Next i think i need a nokia item called a CK7W.

Once fitted, a bluetooth phone should work through the speakers and mute the radio when the phone rings.

As for the ipod, i use an fm transmitter called a DLO transpod. its great apart from it sits in the fag lighter socket and ocasionally disconnects if i knock it when moving the gear stick.

hope this helps

Will
