Hiya guys and girls,
Just a thought on something that has been bugging me for a while now.
Last year I fitted a complete Double S exhaust wirh tubular manifolds. It didn't fit wuite right for the start. But used a bit of brute force and more than a moderate dose of ignorance. Well it has always sounded like it was blowing from the manifold to head flanges. Got my hands all round the headers and can feel no hot air coming out. Loads of cold from the damn fan though. Now 20k miles later and after having new plugs leads, rotor etc changed. oh and new dizzy and complete timing setup it sounds worse. sounds like blowing on at least 4 joints. but cant find and leaks or soot marks.
is it just the headers making it sound like this or something else.
all thoughts welcome.
oh it's a 3.9 RRC 89
