Ha ha ha ! knew that'd be the first answer I get!!

The plan would be to sell my standard Boost alloys and tyres, then buy a set of these, and a set of Kunho kl71's

The sale of the Boost wheels and tyres would hopefully get me around £400...... not much, but it'd help towards a £1400 bill...

So did you get 'em? I'm considering the hit too for all the same reasons as your own. Well mostly cos they look mint and they're double 'ard, light is just a bonus! BFG KM2's (255/85/16) for me but I have them already.

Be good to know they're worth it.

Cheers

As you say they look good and they have an excellent pedigree so why not go for it?

I have had ZU's for a few years now but am getting bored with them and thinking of going for a set of five Blindo's (have to be the Anthracite like my ZU's) and as I am looking at a new set of tyres (BFG AT's in 265/75x16 again) it will probably be the best time as there is always an advantage in buying a package rather than separately.

I ended up buying Terrafirma Dakar wheels. They're almost exactly the same and are made by an Italian rally car wheel manufacturer. They are satin black and fitted with Kumho KL71's they look awesome. Car's up on axle stands just now as I'm refurbishing both axles entirely, but I'll get some photos up once the works done!

Whenever its parked in public, I have a 50kg alarm. He tends to get grumpy if he's woken up!
My Defender spends most of its time on RAF bases, so it's secure anyway luckily!

I got a set for my crew cab 110 they are orgasmick :) just got to save for a bigger bfg tyre now , there on 235/85/16 at the mo and look **** , so 265/75/16 here we come :)
So all be warned , 235/85/16 don't do them any justice !!!
