You won't find better advice and help for the P38 than on LZ....just gotta wade through the **** taking first - atleast it ain't a Freelander - then you'd be in a whole world of ****!!

the wife wanted a free lander last year, actually went to look a few, got her talked into an alfa in the end.

i will be doing some reading via the search button on why my cruise control isnt working, cant imagine what would be said around here if i asked a question that has been asked a 1000 times before without searching first, castration perhaps?

Check the Vac pipes - they split easily, the Bellows on the Throttle linkage, the secondary brake switch, the Steering wheel rotary coupler....amd Vac Pump fuse/relay and Pump motor.....assuming its a Petrol...

For a Diesel the CC is controlled using the Diesel EDC unit....check rotary coupler and the Second Brake Switch....else on to a diagnostic....

already noticed a frayed hose going to a bellow in the top right of the engine bay but fixed it and still no cruise control, i will do a search on what you have mentioned but i'm in no hurry. cheers
