Hi guys

can anyone tell me are they a good tyre for a d 1, i have them on mine 235/70/16 but i have only had the car for a few weeks and not really had the chance to get the feel of them in all weathers i supose if its raining a good chance to try them would be in two weeks time as we are going from manchester to cornwall, the reason i ask is my mate also has a d 1 with worn goodyear gts and in the wet the car is all over the shop but likes the look of my bf goodrich tyres and if they have a good reveiw on here he may buy some.

i have gone for general grabber at2's same patern as goodich. i was told goodrich dont last like they used to. have only had the grabber's on for 2000 miles but so far am pleased.

I've put over 40k on my BFG All Terrains and they still have plenty of tread left on them. Work well in all weathers and on most terrains.

My BFG arent wearing as well as the grabbers....the General is a better tyre for my money. The Coopers wore well but I didnt rate the tread pattern.

does anyone know the difference in price between bf all-terrains and grabber at2s and the best place to buy in and around manchester please.

I have BFG,s AT,s and they are great.

I,ve not heard many bad things about either the BFG,s or the Grabbers.

There,s more sizes available in the Grabbers aswell.

Del.

BFG all the way, not seen any evidence of inferior wear on em and mine are 31/2 years old and still have loads of tread left, still great in the mud, last winter I kept moving whatever the weather, snow, flood whatever.

Fitted BFG's AT back in Feb and tread is as good as new and handle excellent. Other sunday when the heavy rain caused low roads in our area to flood, loads of surface water ETC still handled like a dream, Running Colway AT before similar tread pattern but got me everywhere when the snow hit us, only let down was the tyre bead leaked often and the thought of remoulds on the motorway , Spend the extra dosh and get the BFG's :)

he is going to try and get some prices of both tyres from ats euromasters in the next few days so will let you all know when i find out.
