Does anyone have any insight into the availability of BF Goodrich 265 75 16 tyres - looks like there's almost none available any more?

Goodness me, you can get BF Goodrich ATs for £226.62 each at Asda. It says 'fit tomorrow' so they must be available and the price probably includes fitting.
Not the cheapest tyre by any means, but I bought mine 70,000 miles ago and there's still loads of meat on them. I knew they were supposed to be a high mileage tyre, but this is ridiculous. Even if they all blew out tomorrow that's still well under a penny a mile depreciation, for the price I paid for them.

Asda, amongst many others, are not showing any stock. Paddocks etc. Yup, but they’re supply only, by the time I’ve added fitting starts to get quite pricey.

Anyway, have found availability of them from ATS Euromaster for a decent enough all in price.

How old are they, Brown? My old BFG AT'S were like that, can't remember how many tens of thousands of miles they had done, but they were years old, very hard and were going to take a lot more years to wear down to replacement levels. The new KO compound grips the road much better, but wears faster. Hmmm, I'm now wondering how long I've had my KO2's and how many miles they've done :rolleyes: At my age, time flies by :(

I got them in May 2016, so they'll be coming up to their seventh birthday soon. I was wondering whether they're getting a bit old, but I had a conversation with the people at the MOT garage when I last took it in just before Christmas and they say the tyres should be good for a few more years yet.

That's interesting. I see Asda is still offering BFG 265/75/16s to fit tomorrow to me. Not that I need any tomorrow, but I'm just playing around wasting time. It must be postcode specific.
