Hi
Any good suggestions for an electronic Defender 1986 manual?

I'm after the Land Rover publications and not Haynes.

I'd like something I can print of extracts, take them in the garage, cover them in oily finger print without freaking out.

I could buy the real book and scan to PDF I guess but I've got better things to do ( my Wife claims ).

Cheers
Jim

Hello and welcome:)
Have a search for Rave its the workshop manual and like a haynes on steroids and its free.
There are some links on here somewhere.

I think it's likely you won't find one.

You're in the pre-CD genuine LR workshop manual era - much the same as my 1986 RRC which is also big thick book only.
The late RRCs are in Rave but it doesn't cover much of the earlier ones.

A quick ebay suggests that that's the case, plenty of paper for early Defenders but no CDs.

You could consider buying one, dismantling it & putting each page in a plastic cover in a loose-leaf folder. Should keep you amused for hours....

Could try Rimmer Bros they sell workshop DVD for all vehicles except a certain type of we shall not name just in case the phantom cartoonist arrives.
