For a 54plate l322 4.4 v8 vouge would you guys say a 90ah battery is enough to cause problems ect electrical transfailsfe or hdc inactive. I know you should go for higher the better with these I'm looking at getting a 110ah Bosch s5 015 and kind of hoping this solves problems, that's if it's not down to something more serious but currently have a 90ah battery in and getting all sorts of problems.

As I said in my opening message yes I am aware it is best to go the highest AH possible as was explained to me months ago your correct but that wasnt my question what my question was is although it's not the most ideal can a 90Ah battery still do its job in a range, because I know the battery is still working fine although a few months ago I thought it was knackered but now I have had it tested and I know it's okay my question was is it 100% necessary to buy a new 110ah or will my 90ah still manage to do the job or is it believed to be to low? And Rover feel free not to reply if your going to be like that with me sorry I havent been on this site as long as you and not an expert that's why I'm on here asking for help in the first place and also spell checking me realy? Spelling mistakes do happen when your typing on a mobile

I have to agree with her.

I remember answering you. If you fitted the leisure battery then that’s probably the problem
No I already know you guys told me about the leisure battery and I took that on board of course I didnt use the leisure battery, I have a 90ah car battery fitted but what im trying to ask is 90ah to low for a l322 like is it low enough to cause faults or can it still do its job with that power output I know you guys have told me the higher the Ah ect the better but if I have to make do with a 90ah for now until I can ideally afford the bosch one I want will my current 90ah still be managing to do what it should?

L322 needs a tip top battery. All range rovers are the same, newer the worser.

Once they start to lose charge the ecus go crazy. Personally I’d want a 110ah atleast.
My older P38 has an uprated 120ah 1000cca, yours needs more electric than mine.

90ah will be okay if the battery is 100%, sounds like yours is not. You can trickle charge or charge it full (takes 2days), bump start if you have a manual transmission but eventually you will have to bite the bullet.

Thankyou that's answered my question I just wanted an opinion and yes your right I have had to bring the battery in the house over night and charge it but I wasnt sure if it was a power drain somwere or if I had a faulty battery because it went flat after been sat for a few days but then I read something in here yesterday that ranges can drain a battery just from been sat idle with the alarm set so that made more sense to me.

I'm good with that I enjoy banter but I just thought i was been attacked sorry, i do take what you guys say on board. And haha its auto corrected on my phone as that I need to change it and save it I do make alot of spelling mistakes because I'm lazy and dont check before sending.

I'll start with , my username is Gold Rover. No point you having a strop and Western Slope, or any of the others, thinking you're stropping at them.
You asked about the 90ah in October. You may have had a different fault but your question about the battery WAS answered, in October. Despite which, you haven't changed the battery.
So yes you do 'really get that sort of person everywhere'. The sort, that is, who are given advice, but ignore it. Then when things, which are already on a slippery slope, reach the bottom, due to them ignoring said advice, for months, have a little hissy fit, when it is pointed out, quite politely, that the advice was already supplied.
You are today's 'that type of person'
As to 'be like that with you'. What? Honest? Best go buy a thicker skin, with your correct battery, sweetie.
I also suggest you learn how to spell the trim of your vehicle, as it is frequently used when buying parts. Once is a spelling mistake, continuously is either ignorance or laziness. Either way you need to know how to spell it.

Now , I reckon that both my posts , so far, have been quite nice. The question is , how much space is there on the step. @gstuart, any idea ;)

Not for an L322 , matey ;)

P.S No L322 is manual. Unless converted by a mad person :D ( isn't there a recent thread on that)

Oh dear, bless you the young one will have to be the adult here then, my question has been answered by someone more polite than you therefore this thread is done no longer needs any more replies its done and finished thanks, and your one of them that has to resolve to attacking someone for there spelling because you have nothing else to say speaks volumes of who you are. I didn't sign up to a website to argue with busy body's on forums been nasty to people to feel better about themselves I'm above all that sorry

And you having to try bringing somebody else into the conversation by tagging them to back you up and attack with you what a child haha if you want to start arguments and invite other people to join in then you should stick to facebook, I don't have time to argue with a cyber bully lol I suggest you find somebody else to gang up on and make yourself feel better about yourself by belittling other people.
