On a P38, bigger is better.

The biggest that will physically fit in the battery tray is a MF31-1000. I got mine from Battery Megastore, and was branded Hankook. Though google searching MF31-1000 shows other places doing them too, under different brand names.
It's rated about 115AH and 1000CCA. My last one lasted 4 1/2 years before needing replacement, and a large part of that for me was that I don't use the RR for sometimes weeks at a time when I'm away working.

The only other one I'd recommend is a Yuasa 664SHD - again physically takes up pretty much the whole battery tray. I have a neighbour who works for Yuasa, so get mine through him - but retail prices - the MF31-1000 batteries are cheaper overall, and do the job nicely.

I bought the one from megastore and it's been spot on. Slacken the earth clamp bolt, turn the ignition on then off and disconnect the earth clamp within 17 seconds. You will have to reset the Windows sunroof and radio when you replace the battery.

As mentioned - follow the procedure in the handbook, or how Tomcat mentions. Basic rule of thumb with p38's... ALWAYS disconnect the battery when the vehicle is an unlocked/disarmed state. It will power back up in the state it was in when power was lost... so if it's locked/alarmed, then it will power back up locked and alarmed. If power was disconnected when unlocked/disarmed, it will power back up unlocked and disarmed.

Aswell as radio/windows/sunroof resetting, you will need to resync the key fob - again easy to do, especially if the vehicle isn't locked/alarmed and expecting the EKA first :)
