P38A battery drain

hi folks still got dreaded battery drain on old girl
was just wondering if anyone had the table diagram for fues voltage when the becm is asleep I'm sure someone posted it on here before but can't find it got a auto electrician looking at it but would like to give him to look at or work with thanks guys

There’s a work round involving another fob a few on the site have done someone with it will be along to explain I’ve it’s the rf receiver waking the becm

RF reciver is unplugged done that when first got it
old girl is unlocked as thought might be door locks playing up

this is what I get from alternator when ticking over

this is from or to the starter again when ticking over
left the poor old girl in the garden for week as not used much just went to go out in it and battery is totally flat
been all around earth leads and cleaned them up

The fuse voltage drop chart is attached.
You have to fool the car into thinking all the doors are shut etc. etc.
You also need a decent Voltmeter that measures accurately down in the 200 Millivolt range.

thanks thats what I was looking for
got a decent voltmeter as mate is a electrician and he going to help me just needed something to work with or to

are the readings what they should be when the RR is locked and everything shut down?

Unplugged doesn't stop it, just makes it less likely. Unless unplugged completely and you're using the key in the lock.

No,
They are just reference points to tell you what amps is being drawn through the fuse when you measure it for mV drop across the fuse.
So ideally you are looking for fuses showing a large mVolt potential across the legs of the fuse which will indicate the mA passing through the fuse even when there isn't meant to be anything switched on as these milliAmps are draining the battery.
So if you are showing 10mV across a RED fuse when everything is meant to be off, then in fact that circuit is permanently drawing 1.348Amps.
10mV across a yellow fuse is 3.1A of battery drain.

so should I disconnect both wires from the RF reciver and not just the blue on?

Some have said that the headlight wipers need parking they don't go back all the way

my head lamp wipers have never worked since I had the old girl they are loose to move

@Dopey seeing as mine are looser than a whores draws do you think it be best to remove the fuse for them

I don't think it will hurt it, seeing as they are not working anyway, but see if they share the fuse with something else

looking at RAVE fuse 38 is the only one that does the headlamp wipers?

Well try it, if you don't get a message of a blow fuse and nothing else happens, and if it does it will make you fix them, so they work and park like they should lol

I'm with you on that one poor old girl was abused by previous owner so I'm trying to sort it all out and hopefully stop the missus from getting rid of it
