Trying to fit pas to my 90,,,so im checking and double checking only want to fit it once,,so my first stupid question,,
on the resevoir i have there is a large and small pipe on the bottom,,,am i correct in thinking the larger one is the feed and goes to the pipe of the same diameter on the side of the pump,,,,(ntc8287) and this is not as high presure as the others , being the feed!!
thanks in advance,,,
bob.

Had a quick look under the bonnet, and I think you are right. Large pipe to the pump (low pressure), small one to the larger fitting on the steering house (high pressure). Be aware of the differences in thread between 4/6 bolt and 3 bolt houses. 3 bolt house has imperial fine thread, 4/6 bolt has metric.
Changed my rhd 4 bolt to a 3 bolt lhd, and it was a pain in the rear to get the correct fittings (did not use the original pipes and hoses). If it's hard to get the original parts, try a company like pirtek.

Good luck!

Use oil proof hose and if its thin wall dont make to tight a turn as it will kink and starve the pump of oil.
