Hopefully get them fitted Tuesday, taking the day off to get my A Bar welded up, second half ill fit the discs. When thats done that will be the end of an accidental front axle rebuild
That said I doooo want HD Ashcroft CVs and shaftsno money for those though

Apologises , been stuck under my D3 ,lol, wheel alignment tommorow and mot this Friday , gulp
Also hope I don’t see another wishbone for a while, what a @&#&#&@*@&@ job they are , don’t know if u saw my thread replacing them
Got to service it next , engine, atf / transfer and both diffs, but see there’s a bloody great big heavy engine sump plate , so been looking on ebay to suck the engine oil out the dipstick , also my drive is at an angle

I do love a tub for bearings etc, but find a squeezy tube best for brakes and anti frett applications, god I am getting quirky in my old age......

hahahahahahaha please!! £17k!?!? You can get the same if not more torque from a tuned TD5 for one, two a 3UZ V8 conversion is roughly £7K which is 350bhp and 550nm standard and capable of 600bhp+ and 700nm+ with a supercharger for an extra £1k.
I'm certainly in the wrong business...
You've been busy then! The same bushes went on my dads RR, he asked me to do them I promtly said no lol and sent it off to Gigglepin!! I don't envy you! lol glad youre well though.

Shop4auto is usually my go to for bits like that but I needed mine then and there so had to come from Gigglepin for a high cost
