Just the other I was driving home from work and I started to get a lot of vibration throughout the front end of the landy between speeds of bout 30 in 4th gear and 40 in 5th while accelerating, settles when not accelerating and just cruising and engine seems to sounds likes its working harder.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? I thought it might be misfire so put some injector cleaner through but no difference.

First thing is to check your props, when did you last grease them?

Because he put injector cleaner in so he thinks it the engine at fault.
Why of why am i so wise?

Any play in the u/js or the slider section, little play can result in all sorts of weird noises.

Ok so another thing to add to this now checked ujs and props no obvious play. And then to confuse me more this started when I had about half a tank of fuel and then yesterday I filled up to the brim and the vibrations went away completely:S

Hmmmmm

Well if thats the case i suppose start with the fuel sender and work up to the lift pump, maybe if its puling air this is causing the vibes?

Ive got the same problem and it boiled down to the front diff had a bust seal, so no oil in it, as i spent £18 on diff oil and watched it all p**s out the bottom!! Awaiting a new seal then more oil and hopefully it should fix the problem. Its worth having a look at, If this isnt the case with yours then i dont know what else to suggest!

Well weirdly it was only affected by which fuel station I used, there is a cheapo independent one near me and whenever I filled up with their fuel it caused the vibration!! Any other ie supermarket/big name bp shell it never caused any trouble :/ but unfortunately my landy has now gone to a new home and I am in the process of searching for an appropriate one for work:D
