bad remote

hi

have bin looking around this morning in here , but can´t fined anything


my remote works but have to fine the right spot on the car so have to press the remote button 10 times before finding the signal ..

I have changed the battery in the remote and car and the button in the remote without a change

what can i do

it sounds like your rf box has the wire off it..

okay where is that box??

on a right hand drive its under the rear shelf on the drivers side. i would not put it back on as its been taken off for a reson..

RF box in situe blue wire is aerial.

there is something about getting a never version of the rf , but can i only by it at landrover stealer

yes only place you is sure to get the part you need..

they're bout £140 at stealers, it's a shielded unit from spurious signals. I didn't bother, just disconnected blue wire = problem solved........in my case!

yes but if i remove the blue weir then the remote works like **** :doh:

Live with it thats what most of us do. Just hold the fob near the rear window.

Exactly......either put up with low range on remote or spend £140+ on new RF unit.....your choice!
