Bad earth? Wipers and headlights come on together!

1993 200tdi 90

Turning on headlights tonight (dipped or full beam) results in my windscreen wipers coming on intermittently. Only happens when driving over bumps so suspects bad earth somewhere

Any clues on where to start?

Through bad earth experiance, i'd start with main earths, chassis to engine, battery to chassis then work back to the headlight earths. Cant be earthing properly so taking earth from wipers somehow.
