Hi again had some checks done the alternator is charging ok but when the car is locked and not running the meter shows that something is pulling nearly 5 amps out of the battery is this normal:confused:

Definately not normal, 30 milliamps is more like it when all has gone to sleep which can take a while.
Do a search on final stage resistor:)
 
+1 to FSR....also remove your front headlamp wiper blades.....the front HL wiper motors have been known not to park properly causing current drain....removing the wiper blades will allow the motor to fully cycle and park.

Removing the wiper fuse would be easier :rolleyes:
