Disco 2 AUX power supply in the boot

Is it possible to use the AUX power supply in the boot to charge a leisure battery?

probably been asked before but I can't find any related threads.

No, it doesn't have the variable current/voltage which a charger would have, its just bog standard 12v with something like 20a supply.

that feed like any other feed in the car is parralel connection with the main battery on the alternator output though... what kind of leisure battery(AH =?)

It was an option on some models so not fitted on yours maybe.

Mine has a very chunky wiring extension all the way back to the rear door, it used to have a Hella socket on it, now has a lighter socket.
It was fitted as part of its Thames Water commercial vehicle spec.

Im back to the UK next week, ill have a look at where the wires are run from and let you know.

70AH battery from halfords

open the boot door, its on the left just behind the seats
