Autobox problem

Fixed one problem and another rears it's ugly head

I have no drive from my auto box. Nothing happens if I put it into any gear. If I put it into park I get a sort of clicking noise as I select it, it stops as soon as it is in park. I have checked the atf after going through the gears with engine idling and the level is fine. Fluid is nice and red.

I have just replaced the starter motor, is there anything near that I may have knocked or dislodged which would cause this. It was perfectly alright when i drove it last.

What do I check next?

have a look through plate in bottom to see if t/c is turning

just check cable is clamped to mount securely and lever on box side ,may need somone to work selector while you watch

Sidewaysste and TheBigLad: How dare you suggest I could be so stupid. I've owned a number of landies, I'd never do that!!!!

And if I find the idiot who didn't put the lever back properly there will be serious trouble..
