Auto box oil cooler pipes

Hi. Following a loss of ATF I have discovered that the nearside oil pipe has come loose from the auto box. It’s really difficult to get to so I was wondering if it is recommended to disconnect the exhaust at the main box and try to move it out of the way to gain better access - thanks

What disco ?? I done mine td5 & 300tdi didn't take the exhausts off I ended up cutting a section out
of a ring spanner so I could slip the spanner onto nut, I cracked the fitting with a smallish shifter first.

If its a newer disco please ignore the above & I cant help.
