Attaching southdown wing moulding...

Just got my shoutdown snorkel wing moulding in the post today, how do i actually attach to the wing? If anyone has any instructions for said item, that would be lovely

the original southdown instructions tell you to use silicone

He he, yep black silicone works a treat, used it on my D1, and today fitted it to a friends D2

looks nice in black that...

yeah cheers was not sure at first, but we are glad we took the time to paint it in black

you made a good job of painting it... I thought at a glance that Southdown may be offering powdercoated parts now...

should of come with instructions on the box where it says documents inclosed, i didnt realise and rang them because i thought they would be in the box, i used the stuff they stick spoilers on with

does look good in black'what paint did you use?

We "borrowed" some Aircraft matt black from work. Sprayed it in our spray booth and left to dry for a few hours in a heated drying room. It "should" be quite hard wearing, but only time will tell.

Personally I don't think what's wrong with smoothrite haha! That's my plan anyway.
