Atf fluid top up

I couldn't find and dexron 2 or 3 fluid in shop and automatic gearbox was a little low, I had some comma aqf mineral in house and topped up box with about 250ml will it cause damage

I would suggest it’s not life threatening in the short term, but it’s not recommended. If anything it will compromise the performance of the recommended oil already in there. I would change it sooner rather than later.

What vehicle is it on? Peeps on ere will be able to advise what they use in said vehicle.

Dexron 3 is a specification, If Comma's product meets that spec use it, any other brand up choose.

Says in your profile ‘LR-none yet’ but I’m fairly sure you have a P38?

If so you have an HP22/HP24 gearbox depending on model - our Enery is the one to ask he’s a pervert connoisseur with oils for these boxes.
