Ashcroft T.C.Upgrade.

I'm Pricing up an upgrade on the Torque converter on my Td5.
I am not able to do the work myself so would a price of around £1.000 - £1,100 be about right all in for this?
Just asking as I know some of you have already done it.

Just the new torque converter on it's own ???
You can get a new re-con auto box from Ashcrofts with a new (re-con? albeit standard) torque converter for £1260 all inclusive.

That sounds enormous to me. The TC is £300, the labour is taking the autobox out swapping the TC and putting it straight back in - £700-800 labour????

well he has said £1 to 1100, so it's in range
