I honestly can't see the problem here.

We have a P38 Range Rover with possible HGF and which the DVLA believes was manufactured in 1997.

The seller maintains he bought from nearly new, which presumably must mean 1997/98? Although insists it's 2002 Range Rover really, as he probably bought in 2003 and believed the gumph the seller told him about it being only 1 year old.

Plus, don't forget, It's a rare Special Vehicle order. Whose plate, by the way, shows a build date of 2003?

So I agree with the seller. It is rare. After all how many 1997/2002/2003 P38s are there in this world?

from the special vehicles plate contract number 11067
can anyone find out about the real RR ?

or can anyone purchase fake ally plates still
There are a fair few LRSVs being broken these days. I imagine the PO picked up a new slam panel from a LRSV and glued it onto this 97. Unless it really is a 97 that got the LRSV treatment late in life. If you have the pockets they'll happily give any RR the treatment.
