Hi everyone,
George here From east lothian in a petrol l322 4.4,
I've been watching and searching this site for absolute years for general surfing reading and help to as a guest so today i joined never to late heh i thought i had already joined .
I've had owned and loved many rovers sdi v8 827 vitesse land rovers discos range rovers, been in this current l322 m62 for around 3 years now many just 4 actually,
she's been good to me, i payed way to much as usual but i have one lol. got it with many things not working , last week indicators went duff again, when i 1st got her indicators lasted a week and i had to get a lcm ,been fine till a month ago, i got a 2nd hand one and no go ,so i and doing a hard reset and check it again tomorrow ,icar soft says it lcm
I am old ish all broken so it takes me a while to get things done but when i see an opportunity to drive my car I'm off don't care about petrol although its real.
It is my registered disabled car and easy to drive and get in and out although its old ,i can get my mobility scooter in the boot if needed and any excuse to go drive it as i really don't drive much, i can leave her a fortnight and know she will start and go, not the case when i first got it was dead on 2nd day o owned it, heater control unit and hedge hog .
Spent a lot on her many spares lol some not used yet as i cam across a l322 and bought about half the car ,i should have just bought the whole thing by the time i was finished going back and forth for some in case parts(interior parts radio sat nav speakers door stuff all lights ecu,s compressor grill omg i can go on, wife went mental ,if only she knew what i got in the other shed ,wheels 3 sets now i spent more than it was selling for as a faulty car, rust was that one killer.
Ever since i help my dad get a campervan i fancy one my self get rid of my caravan .that way a road trip, a 1.5 ton 6 wheeler ifor williams flatbed plant trailer with a huge 3.5 ton old kon tiki swift motorhome only just on it we towed just fine nice 55mph all the way home on the motorway.
Well this is some of my long introduction story probably not all that different to others.
George
