greenlaning wise there isnt much in this area, a few lanes down stokenchurch way, and a couple round chesham, but after that you have to head down towards surrey or off to hertfordshire way to get anything of interest. my main 4x4 vehicle is off the road at the moment getting rebuilt, but i still have a rangey, so would happily show you around a few of the local areas for you if you like.

I've live just outside of Tring and have just started laning too, so would also be interested to know of any local lanes. I went out Essex way with the guys from the http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f13/hertfordshire-lanes-58704-961.html thread at the weekend, and I'm hooked.
I don't have a lot of local knowledge, but the plan is to find any likely spots on the OS map, bung my mountain bike in the back of the landy and go exploring when I get the chance. As carpy said, theres a couple near Chesham and I know of one near Hastoe thats opening on 1st April. Other than that I'm still exploring. I'm going to check out Berkhampstead next week, then there is another likely spot near Princes Risbrough. I'm not even too concerned about finding inaccessible and closed ones as I'll still get a nice day out on my bike

Redhands font of all knowledege has a hadly download for totom sat navs listing the start of greenlanes.I used this for scouting the lanes.Found a few aere blocked, a few were trod a some that had gates but like ya say a good day outHi Jamie

Done the ones at and around Princes Risborough. A lot have seasonal TROs on them and if you drive a route out that way there is a good chance you will stop for lunch at a pub (can't recall the name but spyderman will know it), where the landlord is an ass who came outside and insisted a couple of guys wore shirts. He was very rude though and if wqe had known which car was his I am sure that Glenn321 would have driven over the damn thing just to make a point!
