Now should i be concerned about this at all?? advice please

The temp gage is going just a tad over the 1/2 way mark (driving slow to stoping at lights, i live in london, so it takes a while at 10mph to get anyplace at all !!!) obviously i have checked the coolant levels and there all fine, its not over heating, should i put some more anti freez in it or not? as im driving along its going a tad under, i cant here if the fans are kicking in (but then again i never could there quiet anyway)

I have checked for any dead hedgehogs children wads of £50 notes ((driving through the city them merchant bakers drop there bonuses all over the place) etc blocking the rad, but is clear

Only noticed it passed few warm days we have had

cheers for that, i worry because its been a full 3 months and nothing has gone wrong, so im expecting something soon, and im keeping my eyes peeled :)

It has the 2.5 tdi its running cool in the colder mornings and 1/2 way in the hotter days, i don't know if this is related, the A/C is nowhere near as cold as it should be

might be worth checking the fan and the rads at the front of car. i had my rad off to do block(long story) and when it was off i blasted the inside through with water and cleaned the outside with air hose, got it sparkling like new but i will be replacing it in the not too distant future!

Have you blasted the ****e out of the condenser with the grille off. May have a million flies blocking it.
Another cause of poor performance from the aircon could be..obviously..gas level.
From what you have posted Dopey about the cooling is that it appears okay. Obviously this "Heatwave" will push the gauge up slightly. "Her Indoors" Vectra never went above 90deg, yet the past few days it has risen between 90-100 and not lost any coolant or given any problems, yet the electric fan has been doing it's job and keeping the temperature well below the "Red"

I had the air con not long back all sorted, and fully gassed up so im hoping its nothing to do with that, i will flush the rad now and see if it makes a difference

Just flushed it, will have to wait later i will give it a drive, the 2 fans at the front, condenser fans, are not turning at all, i have the aircon on full, and still no joy on them, you think there fubar?

Is there anyway that i can check to see if that fans are working from the fuse box etc? by bridging a wire over them or something like that, im ****e at leccy stuff, so please fun me through it with me carefully thanks

if you turn the hazards on then operate the aircon/climate to fully hot then fully cold it should turn on both fans in turn and then off again!

Briggsy you serous m8? i will give a go even though i think your pulling my ****er

Its all clean in the condensers, i flushed the system and put more antifreeze in, a stronger strength than before, and it seems to be doing the trick

I just tried the Hazard light thing, its not working still

Looking back at past post, how do i bridge them? is this the same fusebox that's under the bonnet??
Relay 13 is Condenser Fan 1 - Bridging terminals 3 and 5 will power the fan
Relay 14 is Condenser Fan 2 - Bridging terminals 3 and 5 will power the fan
Relay 18 is AC control Relay

you really are dopey!! i was pulling your ****er, i was having fun at your expense. for that i am truly sorry but then if ya dont laff sometimes then youd cry!!

Ok i bypassed the bloody thing directly from the battery, and they both work, so its either some frigging sensor, or the wirings not plumbed in right. anyone have any SENSIBLE (this excludes Briggsy) on what to do next? dam im so crap at leccy stuff
