Hi

I am off to view my dream veichle on Saturday...My question is should I be worried about anything, I have read all the usual reviews and nothing there to raise any alarm bells. I'm looking to purchase an 11 plate Range Rover 4.4 TDV8. My father owned a Range Rover in the 90s and its off road ability is etched firmly in my mind. Should I be concerned or asking any specific questions before I take the leap? Thankyou in advance for any posotive comments and guidance it will be much appreciated

Love ours:) (positive enough?)
But:eek:
Check service history.
Suspension bushes, battery, gearbox oil, suspension compressor, a few things:D.

Otherwise enjoy:D:D.

Nothing to worry about at all. Whoops, where's my thribble.

Most of the comments have been constructive but you only seem to be commenting on the witty comments.

Service history
MOT history
check everything works
3k budget for repairs
Diagnostic tool to save you £70/hour every time a fault pings up
from @marjon Suspension bushes, battery, gearbox oil, suspension compressor,
from @RangeRoller dt make sure its got more than one key
If it's from a dealer try and get a warranty

Feel free to respond positively :D

Some witty pricks on here...what a disappointment and a let down when simply asking for some friendly advice..

Have a read of some of the threads on here this is all normal banter its the way we roll on here but in-between the mickey taking you will get good answers, you are luck if a thread can stay on track for more than one page:D
the mickey taking keeps us all sane well nearly all:D

Being positive is absolutely essential for any owner of a Range Rover outside its warranty period. We all go around wearing rose-tinted specs. You'd better have a sense of humour once you've got one and you've spent a decent amount of your wage packet and free time trying to keep it going. And despite it all we keep driving them: you cannot get more positive than that.
