Anyone want a Disco?

2 weeks later and I have had 1 phone call. apart from several calls from Autodata who insisted they had people on their books who wanted vehicles like mine and for a mere £79 they could put them in touch with me! I'm afraid I wasn't polite with them.

Anyway, if I don't get what I want for it then I may as well keep it. I was looking to spend £3000 on top of what I got for this. You can buy a lot of diesel for £3000!

Better the devil you know rev, but I see your point they really are not too practical for everyday use. I think the road tax thing has frightned a lot of people off, but in reality it doesnt affect these models and they don't know that. I have a 300tdi and a merc with both returning about 28 to the gallon, the merc I used everyday until I retired last year, and now only comes out in the good weather when I can get the roof down. But in terms of the smile factor I wouldn't have it any other way.

Do you enjoy the vehicle, no, get rid of it , yes, keep it, told you geet some mud tyres on it and yee haw.

I think if I knew of places nearby to get it muddy I would be keener to keep it. Not aware of anywhere on Anglesey at the moment.

Thanks, I am warming to the idea of keeping it. (mrs wants me to keep it too) I will get some spare steel wheels and some Kuhmos and hopefully get to some events and see what it can really do!

Have you explained the social aspect of it, clubs have social element as well as getting stuck in a swamp.
