2001 td5 Epsom Green ES Auto

With a baby on the way I am being forced into selling my pride and joy. Need to downsize from 2 cars (this and a sh***y wee ka) and buy 1 "sensible" fuel economy favourable grey man bore mobile! So here's my D2 td5 Automatic ES for sale. I live in Gourock, 20 miles or so West of Glasgow, so please beare this in mind if you're interested. If you're not then fine by me

MILEAGE IS 119850 at present. I do use regularly so will increase.

Exterior

Showing no signs of any previous accident repairs. Slight bubbling around one alpine window and rear passenger door. Easily repaired.

Interior

7 seats. Full leather. Very nice. Showing not too much wear, only slight cracking on driver’s seat at usual place. Will clean up to a decent standard.

Tyres

5 x Cooper Discoverer STT 275/45 r16. 1 unused on back as spare, rest 7-8mm left.
As I mentioned I will throw in my 5 x 18” Hurricane alloys with 8 Dunlop SP Sport tyres for free!

Keys, Tax, Paperwork

I have two remote keys, and the full book pack including the original service book. Folder full of receipts.
Taxed until 31/12/13. MOT August 2013 (I think, will need to double check as it may be July or September!)
I also have all the old MOT's.


Known Faults
Actuator on driver’s door not working fully. Has to be unlocked using key but rest of doors open with key fob. All doors lock with fob!
The Steering Wheel is starting to show some wear.
The electric heating on the driver’s seat does not work. Same for the heated front screen.

A genuine vehicle at a good price! £3750 o.n.o AS DISCUSSED BELOW I WOULD BE WILLING TO ACCEPT A LESSER OFFER IF SOLD WITH JUST ONE SET OF WHEELS AND TYRES> YOU CHOOSE>

Car is used almost daily so this will increase.

I hope you don't mind me saying but to be honest in the current climate (financial) and the time of year (winter finished) I reckon you are asking rather too much and perhaps that's why no-one noticed ?

I'm looking for a car like yours but there's no way I would pay that much, sorry.

Not at all, it's only worth what someone will pay for it. Plenty of worse ones about going for the same money I am asking. I am also throwing in 2 sets of wheels and tyres, dog guard, etc

I know what you're saying but I think it is worth what I'm asking with the extras I have on offer. Obviously I am willing to come down a little but I would rather hold onto it until I get close to what I think it's worth. Rather than give it away for way too little. I would much rather not sell but circumstances dictate.

Not been short of interest at that price. Had 2 deposits paid only for dreamers not to be able to sell their own cars subsequently. The condition and history of the car speaks for itself. Could be quite profitable this deposit collection business!

Now sold :-(
