Good link. Hmmm I might be alright then.

It is true, it is down to the tester and 'interpretation of the law' last year mine passed. No advisories, yet I knew there should be some. Main thing is the tester came up to me and said 'It passed, but it shouldnt have. Theres no horn' He tested the button on my OMP wheel not realising the horn was on the stalk...

I always insist on doing all the driving in and out bits and operating lights and such, was testing the horn for him and it didn't work, I said, huh, that's odd, it worked this morning, he said try it again and went "BEEB" when I pressed it and was happy with that  :p :)

So 300's should be ok then, same chassis no range listed both with and without cats :)

slightly.... its only no cat for the one in bold which overlaps with the one below it

cat
from Ch.nr. MA939976 to Ch.nr.MA951235

no cat
from Ch.nr. MA-951236 to Ch.nr.VA-999221

cat
from Ch.nr. MA-951236 to Ch.nr.VA-999221

cat
from Ch.nr. VA999222 to Ch.nr.WA159806

mine doesn't fit in any as its VA122*** so I think their might be a typo on the site
edit... yep a typo edited to fix it, and mine is safe for no cat :)

TA997*** for mine so that hopefully puts me in the ambiguous area so may be OK - guess I'll find out in about 3 months (may ask a test center or two before booking to see which one to use if there is a difference in opinion)

SteNova are you sure it isn't 'to' TA999221 as per Bosal rather than VA999?

It is an offence under the Road vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations
(Regulation 61a(3))
1 to use a vehicle which has been modified in such a way that it
no longer complies with the air pollutant emissions standards it was designed to
meet. Removal of a DPF will almost invariably contravene these requirements,

making the vehicle illegal for road use.

i just copied this from dippy`s link.
doesnt that cover cats, dpf and egr?
