An alarm goes off in my disco 1 (1998) at 70 or 75mph, anyone know why or how to shut the bloody thing up?

I would suggest your vehicle was "originally" a GCC spec (gulf states) and they have a 120KPH or 70 mph ish Speed warning...........If Im honest didnt know they were on the D1 as well, tried to get it working on my D2, but I "think" its a different dash clock assy, so it would not play ball.....It can most likely be turned "off" by a dealer....
