Anyone?

Can't find it on any wiring diagrams. Plain red wires with a connector. Can't tell where it connects as it disappears into the loom.

Anyone any ideas?

I remember vaguely playing with one of those plugs, if I remember there should be another connector plug in the same area that plugs into it. I also seem to remember that it is something to do with the side and dipped beam so they come on together when side is switched on on the 6 way lighting switch. I hope somebody else on this forum can give you a more definitive answer.

Hi Mate,
It's a power outlet , there is a socket out there on the market somewhere that fits it, either 12v or 24v not sure what you have in there. I've also got one in my ex.Mountain Rescue Landy labelled "12v Power Outlet".
When I was in the Marines, we used to splice the ends off of a kettle lead onto the male part cut off of a radio battery charger so we could boil up wets and scran.

I've got a little three pin socket like that on my towbar next to a more conventional trailer socket. Probably used to power auxiliary equipment when mine belonged to a power station in its former life. Only mine has hole where yours has pins.

Right worked it out, just for future reference.

When the 6 way plug is removed and a civi column switch fitted for the lights this needs to be joined to its socket to make the sidelights work.

Doesn't work as a power feed for the CB lol
