I went to Hunters in Norwich this morning for my EKA code. Usual stuff etc,log book, proof of ID and 5 minutes later Im handed the mush needed code - The code is the same as the pin number on my barclaycard !!!!!

What are the chances of that concidering there are 10 digits in any combination and digits maybe used more than once, and then each combination might be used on every P38 made

The chances must rum into millions

I've got 3 credit / debit cards, from 3 different banks.
The security code (3 digits on the back) is the same on all 3 of them!

Still, makes it easy to remember.

If it's a 4 digit PIN code, then the chances are one in 10,000.

i rang our local main stealer... asked about the cost of a new remote for my fathers 300tdi
then asked for the code to twiddle the key in th lock to bypass it... they read it off to me over the phone. must admit i was surprised

1 in 10,000, as others have said.

Of course, there are 40 million or so adults in the UK. So it will probably happen to 4,000 of them.

slightly off the Maths theme,- what did it cost you to get the Eka code? need to do th same.
thanks
