anyone breaking a manual p38?

Im after the plug for the dash hi/low range switch
I have a diesel auto so dont think I'll have one it the back off the dash but dont realy want to start hacking away at the wires anyway
Ive got a dvd system to fit complete with sun visor monitors and headrest monitors and was wanting to wire a (standard looking) switch to kill the power to them when not in use
Now ive bought a transmission switch off ebay cos I dint want a switch ive already got but when I messaged the guy to get the plug he had already sold the loom and knowone else on ebay has one
So if anyone has one id very much appreciate it ££ or failing that if anyone knows if there will be one pre wired behind my dash

Well the switch came today and turns out its no good for the job anyway lol
I need a locking switch like the cruise switch and the guy told me this was! Never mind, hey ho, hey ho ,back on ebay I go..

can you not put a straight on off switch under the dash somewhere might be a bit tidier

Probbably could but just wanted it to look as much original as possible

I wanted an extra switch on the dash, for extra reversing lights, so I used the switch blank and mounted a tiny black rocker switch (Maplins) into it. Black on black, no-body, including other P38 owners have ever spotted it.

Ive found that I can swop the (head) of the switch so just need to get a eas lock switch or a cruise switch and swop the head so it still has the hi/low symbol but works as a locking switch then it will look factory fitted (I dont like too much aftermarket stuff) and with the matching gray leather headrest screens all will look standerd hopefully
