Anyone around Plymouth?

Have we anyone in the Plymouth area that would be willing to help out a young mate?

He's lost power on his Fender and does not have access to wi-fi so can't post on here.

It could simply be that the turbo vacuum pipe has come off ... or something else completely!

Unfortunately, I can't get down there to assist, and would have to wait until he brings it back home.

Dude, I'm not that far from Plymouth - but to be honest have the mechanical skills of a munkey. I assume this guy needs a competent person.

I think he just needs someone that knows their way around a new-ish TDI ... Failing that, maybe a bit of moral support.

I could do that Mints - but a newish TDi is well beyond me.

OSD - can you get a few more signs and symptoms and discuss it with someone here first? There will be somebody who can make a good diagnosis.

I have every confidence that James will know what your issue is - honestly he is a top fella - if you are a lucky chap he may even pm you his mobile number so yopur man can talk through the problem with him.

These are all questions that I can't answer, which is why I have asked for a contact number so that he would be able to discuss directly.

I will speak with him this evening and get as many details as I can.

I think that it is on a 50-something plate.

thank you, but i dont have a mobile anymore ,my daughter wanted a blackberry so upgraded mine for a £10 less a month,never used it really only to find my mrs in town but she started to switch hers off but obviously have land line which i will give to people if i can maybe help ,
